It is called pinging and it is bad for the engine. You could try a beter grade of gas for a while or the ignition timing is not right worst case there is to much carbon build up on the pistons and you will have to pull the spark plugs and put in a cleaner MOST of the time it's caused by a bad EGR Valve-Dirty EGR Valve or NO Vaccume going 2 the EGR Valve.LOW Octane can cause it-BUT if u are using the same gas IT'S probably the EGR Valve & if everything else is the same (like Timing) that HASN'T been Changed.Probably a vaccume hose fell off.
Fuel is not good!
A defective vacuum line can cause a whistling sound when the vehicle is accelerating. A loose belt can also create a high pitched whistle sound.
bad wheel bearings
When the wheel and the tire rub together.
Get a new car................ -___-
Most likely it's a CV joint.
if its a front wheel drive vehicle then it could be the axels
main shaft bearing
More than likely... the power steering belt.
you probly have a belt slipping, a can of belt dressing should stop the sound
There are a number of reasons why your car may be making a whirring sound when accelerating. You may have a lose part for example.
Might be a cracked vacumn hose, there are plenty, and the age is about right for this to happen.
i would check the belts they are probably loose or worn
What is a "flapping sound" Birds?
If it sounds like its coming from inside the car its probably the fuel pump if not its kind of hard to say.
Yes, it sure can.
Vacuum leak or your window is open.
possibly your wheel bearing is on its way out
Loose belt - will sound like a screeching noise.
If accelerating to the speed of sound, the subsonic.
Check the coolant system to make sure you are not low. An air bubble going through the heater core can make an odd sound.
A rumbling sound when a Civic Hybrid is accelerating could be due to an exhaust leak. When there is an exhaust leak too close to the manifold it can create a deeper rumbling noise.
It sounds to me you are using a fuel to low in octane, either that or your timing is wrong. Try running on 95 or higher octane fuel.
An acoustic pickup is used to amplify an acoustic guitar. Instead of amplifying an acoutic guitar's sound via a microphone, an acoustic pickup can be mounted on the guitar over the soundhole to provide sound amplification.
tire or wheel out of balance? broken mount on rear of transmission. I have seen where the threads for the bolts into the trans are ripped out.
