Providing it was a faulty fuel pump to begin with, you may have a new defective fuel pump now. Another possibility is that one of the fuel lines is kinked and restricting the flow of fuel. Check the fuel pressure with key on engine off and while in the start position. You may also try spraying starting fluid in the air intake momentarily to verify it is a fuel related problem.

What would cause a grinding noise after a tire is replaced and the brakes are not worn?
The first two things to check would be the transmission fluid level, and have it checked for codes. A lot of transmission problems will set trouble codes.
