Dodge and Plymouth Neon

What would cause a 1995 dodge neon to have a ping like noise after the engine has warmed up does have a oil leak but check the oil and the oil is fine but still have the ping noise?

you could be looking at piston slap.(lot of$$) but if you confusing ping with ticking it may be an easier problem.On the other hand there is another type of ping that is cause by the timing. you need to have it check by a proffesional.
