I had the same proble on a 93 Roadmaster-who-ever installed the alarm system connected it 2 the dome-light control dial-if the dial was set 2 almost turning on the dome light -IT wouldd do the same thing. You might want to check your wireless remote. They can get dirty on the inside from being in your pocket and etc, and short out the lock or unlock circuit. It happend to mine, i have a 94. I just pulled apart the remote, removed the battery and sprayed contact cleaner on the little microchip terminals. Isopropyl alcohol works good too if you have a small brush to clean the terminals. Give it a good cleaning, and let it dry. See if it works-Robert
where is the fuse for driving lights for a 2010 ford escape
I have a 1996 Chevy Silverado that I want to turn the driving lights off. How do I do that? Thank you
The wet sidewalk glistens in the bright lights from the windows of stories.
The driving lights on a Volvo xc90 are turned off by turning the knob on the left side of the steering column. Driving lights are used to notify other driver's of the vehicle's presence.
The new Polo (2011) does not have "Daytime driving lights". It is fitted with "Permanent driving lights". The lights on cars with Daytime running lights can be switched off by using one of the stalks on the steering wheel, or by removing a fuse (daytime driving lights are on a seperate light circuit) Permanent driving lights cannot be switched off. If hte fuse is removed it will disable your headlights and backlights altogether. The only way to disable it is to remove the rotary light switch and cover the pin marked "TFL"
Not using bright lights, turning off music/radio so you can hear traffic at intersections, opening windows at intersections, getting fog lights on the car, and using only low beans on the car.
Low beam headlights and fog lights if the vehicle has fog lights.
I have never known a Chrysler product to have "driving lights" ("DRL"--- daytime running lights) such as used in GM products. ??I have never known a Chrysler product to have "driving lights ( or daytime running lights -- DRL-- as ther are referred to by Gen Motors)Canadian Models do have them, but not American Models.
Driving with no brake lights can be very dangerous. If it is dark outside, a car behind you, may not see you. Having no brake lights will not alert any cars that you are slowing down or stopping.
your US model does not have the wiring , relays etc. for daytime driving lights like the Canadian models do.
If you are driving at night with no lights, yes, you can be pulled over.
I don't use fog lights while driving in a foggy weather because I don't find it very useful at all. I just turn on my cars high beam lights.
i bet it wouldn't be hard to put the headlights on the radeo power that comes on when the ignition is on...
The oil and battery lights might be showing on your shogun when driving due to an electrical problem. A mechanic can properly diagnose the problem.
At night with your headlights on you can only see just so far down the road. Overdriving your lights is driving so fast as to not be able to react to something that is beyond the beam of your lights.
when you see there tail lights. White lights travel farther then red lights.
Turn on your car lights drive safely.
Daylight driving = bright dash lights Night driving = dimmed dash lights. This automatic dimming feature assumes that you only drive with your lights on during poor light or night conditions.
The exterior lights do not have a relay. They are directly turned on by the headlight switch.
Are your brake lights out - usually it's a fuse for the brake lights.
so that you know a car is driving at you, as opposed to away
While driving, the dashboard lights will fall and the car will stall if the vehicle goes dead. This can be caused by a lack of fuel or mechanical failure.
I have a 99 Grand Cherokee and the driving lights are turned on by pulling on the button located at the top of the head light switch on the left side of the column, Note that the driving lights will only work with the low beams and will turn off when you switch to high beams. If you search the net you can find a way to have the driving lights and high beams on at the same time, this usually involves modifying a relay under the hood.
Some cars have lights that turn on lights automatically due to outside brightness
Brake lights are on continuously while you are driving. Every time the brake pedal is depressed.
