Hey Chad==A compression test will tell you the condition of the rings. Since it smokes at idle, the vavle guides probably need attention. Good luckJoe you may have a blown head gasket. is it overheating or running hot? consider www.dodgeintrepid.net

Could be a bad head gasket. You would get engine oil leaking into the cylinder heads and that would show as smoke out the tail pipe.

Blown fuse? Bad blower motor? Bad resistor pack at blower motor? Bad switch?

A cylinder misfire can be cause by a bad spark plug or a bad fuel injector. Replace the spark plug to see if the problem is corrected.
