im not totaly familiar with this particular car but you may have inadvertently tripped the security ignition cut-out,if in fact they have one, hope it helps ,can you specify which circuit the fuse protects?
The Beetle doe not have a security cut out. Is the car cranking over? If not check your fuses on top of battery if it is cranking then check your fuel pump relay if that is not the problem it is probably the fuel pump they go just like that. Turn the car off and it will not start fuel pump is bad
What would cause a grinding noise after a tire is replaced and the brakes are not worn?
the bratzguy doent have an email
If it's not cranking at all, you probably forgot to connect a wire, or you replaced the wiring incorrectly.
There are a couple of a reasons why a 1994 Ford F150 truck will not start. The truck may have a dead battery or the spark plugs need to be replaced.
I had a 1987 Chevy Celebrity that would start and then immediately die. It turned out to be bad fuel injectors. I replaced three fuel injectors and the problem has not returned.
stag beetle
My 92 PA had the same problem. After it cooled down it would start again. The crank and the cam sensors were found to be bad. These were replaced and I have had no problem since.
The voltage regulator in the alternator can cause issues like this when they start to go bad. The voltage regulator is an integrated part of the alternator and cannot be replaced, if it is bad, the entire alternator must be replaced.
A large beetle maybe, but generally you would measure a beetle in millimetres.
If I remember correctly the dealer told me it would cost ~$550.
if you have a keyless unlock/lock system and use the key to unlock the door and then start it it well cause the alarm to go off of maybe a short in the wire or fuse for the alarm system.
The slave cylinder has failed and will need replaced.
