sounds like a cv shaft or a balljoint. or both. if you hear it mostly when you turning or taking sharp corners then it's more than likely the cv shaft. if it's mostly a clicking you hear and it happens when your going over a bumpy road then it's probaly a balljoint. but since your hearing a grinding too the it's most likely the cv shaft. pay attention to it next time your driving keeping this info in mind and you should be able to narrow it down. also most shops do free estimates on your vehicle. so it wouldn't hurt to have someone take a look at it. good luck!

The grinding noise in the front of a 1990 Dodge Caravan could be a cv joint. If it is, it probably only grinds when you take a sharp turn. There is one located on each side.
If its front wheel drive possibly an axle.
