If it's a Laredo, you probably have a vaccum line that has come off or broken. Vent switching is controlled by vaccum in these models. The main vent line comes off of the driver's side of the intake manifold. These are notorious for either slipping off or breaking.
You have a leak in the vacuum supply to the ac control.

It is for vacuum storage. It keeps blower mode from switching to defrost when accelerating. The mode selection is vac controlled and will default to defrost when vac is lost or low. This stored vacuum keeps that from happening
Most likely it is a resistor that has blown on the back of the controls.
A "D" with a circle around it is the overdrive off button.
Have alternator checked. Should be getting 13-14 volts running. If not that, have battery tested.
Your blend door is giving you trouble, it is not switching from defrost to heat or vent

the defrost timer is part of the circut board that has your ice cube selector switches on it..rite above where the ice comes out on the outside of the freezer door..
It is integrated to the rear window defrost. When the one button is engaged, all three elements become energized.
you need to replace the vacuum.
Its under the dash on the drivers side in the engine compartment.
