If you will look there are some metal contact on usually the right rear door, it looks like brass or copper connection. These contacts will get corrosion on them and quit working, if you will use some steel wool or light sand paper to knock off the dark color they will probably start working again.
Bad fuse
If the power door locks quit working on a 1979 Corvette, it is due to broken pigtail switches. With age and use, the pigtails break and leaves the power door locks inoperable.
I have a 2001 Nissan quest, recently my door locks are malfunction, when I pull the door in it locks, when key in ignition it locks, what cause this problem?
Are you ever out of luck, cause you need to remove the door panel to rectify, but you need to open the door to remove the door panel.....
Blown fuse
Door locks are protected by circuit breakers. A surge of power to a fuse would cause it to blow. They are located in the fuse panel.
The 04 is common for a broken wire behind the door panel...usually when it comes out of the door and goes through the hinge area
blown fuse
check the door lock master switch usually that is the problem
doors locks & trunk lock not working
A blown fuse or a damaged computer would cause the turn signals, interior lights, and door locks not to work in the Mazda 3. The fuses are located under the dash on the driver's side of the car.
Check the fuse and relay.
