1 - The alternator is not generating enough current. Recommend that you have your alternator tested before it leaves you on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck.
2 - The drive belt is slipping badly. Replace the drive/fan belt.

caprice. hands down. quicker acceleration, better handling, more power, better stopping, higher top speed, larger aftermarket support. plus if you're rear ended in a caprice it wont blow up like a crown vic thanks for the info but atleast with a crown vic i will have fire works every Canada day

Depending on where you buy it and the quality you want it can cost anything between $90 more or less to $205-$300. Every auto parts store has them and you can always get one from a Ford or Mercury dealer.
