The top makes for Diesel trucks are Ford, Dodge, and Chevrolet. The best selling Diesel seems to be the Ford F Series. The Duramax engine seems to get very good reviews. The Dodge seems to have more problems with it's engine.
On the same fuse is the daytime running lights, DTR sensor, rear defrost. BTW, did you ever find out what is causing it to blow?? Mine is doing the same thing and I don't have any idea what the cause is. If you know, email me back at jnd@aros.net so I can get mine fixed. Thanks it took a while for me to diagnose that issue on my 2001 sporttrac, but it seems that ford also placed the OD switch (on transmission gear selector on column) on this circuit and finding the wiring for that switch had chafed at the hinge point in that selector stalk (replaced fuse and played with selector with engine running, plastic off column and in the dark saw the spark. just wrapped with tape and all is good now.
It is usually pretty clear with a slight yellow or brown tinge, depending on its sulphur content. Modern Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel can be almost completely clear. Bio Diesel seems to have a more yellow tinge to it. Off road diesel will be red.

It seems to have a good safety record. Note that the F250 diesel is NOT one of the vehicles affected by the acceleration problem that's been in the news lately. The Ford F250 diesel has gotten some great reviews from consumers. Because it is a diesel the gas mileage is not that great as to be expected.
Amsoil synthetic oil seems to be your best bet for oil for your diesel truck. It helps to prevent oil from becoming foamy and it works in even very hot environments.
No flames, no sparks, nothing. Its much like rubbing alcohol, or Iodine. It simply causes horrific pain, and often unbearable after pain. The substance of the diesel is said to spark up with the bodily fluids and cause a chemical reaction. This is not true, no way could any bodily fluid start any internal flames, or else we'd be in major trouble. The diesel will simply imply everlasting pain, or so it seems. Do not try
The magnetic energy seems to be specifically associated with or could even be the cause of sunspots activity.
