What would happen if the sun did not exist?

When their will be no sun we wouldn't be alive to see it let me explain:

When the Sun dies out it will trigger a massive explosion expanding 300 times it's usual diameter meaning it will consume Mercury,Venus and Even Earth (possibly even Mars!)

Even if you were further away the Sun would burn us if the core hadn't all died out if it had then we would all freeze to death.

well... the sun doesn't go down. the earth does something called rotate which creates the illusion of the sun going down. but for the sake of answering your question, if the sun never went down we would all die somehow.

If the sun never went down, that would mean the world has stopped rotating. If the Earth stopped rotating, time would be less relevant because the sun would never "move". Also, the seasons and such would probably get seriously messed up and everyone would die eventually.

Our kind of life requires warmth and energy to survive. Here in our planet, the Earth is warmed by the Sun, which provides all of our energy either directly or indirectly.

If our Sun were to fail or disappear (neither could happen), the Earth would soon freeze solid and all life would die.

But we can build our own environments and provide for our own energy. Space probes far from the Sun are powered by nuclear reactors; our own interstellar space craft will need similar power sourced.

Before our sun "stops shining," as it creates enough helium from fusion, it will swell to a Red Giant, and envelop the Earth. Then helium will start fusing into heavier elements for a hundred million years or so. Then it will start shooting out matter in destructive pulses, eventually creating a nebula. These pulses will throw whatever planets from our solar system that may have survived into a wider orbit, or out of the sun's gravity altogether to go sightseeing. But our sun will still be shining in the center of that nebula -- shining even brighter, but much smaller -- as a white dwarf. That will last about a thousand years before it cools enough to "stop shining" and wander through space as a giant black rock about the size of what was once Earth. About 100 years later, someone will post a question on Answers.com asking "Why was the Sun so important?" and some smartypants will answer "Your mom."

2.animals that eat plants will not survive

3.animals that eat animals that only eat grass will desapear

Temperatures will immediately drop to sub-zero temperatures and everybody will freeze on the outisde. The inside will still be working and will take a long time to freeze or die out. This is proven by scientists who have thrown themselves into liquid nitrogen trying to entirely freeze themselves so they could get thawed out in many years time. Unfortunately it doesn't work so they died.
