plant eaters will over populate the earth and they will have no room to move so there could be alot violent killing to thin out population but they will probally still grow and grow and grow for years to come. my prediction ryan
Technically, natures cycle would stop completely; The oxygen level would rapidly increase above the upper explosive level, and the carbon dioxide would rapidly be depleted. Once the O2 level were high enough, just about anything could set off an explosion - lightning, most likely, and the fireball would be fed and fueled by all oxygen (unless the atmosphere was saturated, then the explosion wouldn't be able to happen) ... and the entire surface of the planet would be purged by explosive fire.
I am going to assume you mean carnivores other than humans. Without carnivores, all prey species would over populate. This could cause crowding, create new carnivores out of herbivorous species, and cause overall chaos.
There would be an over abundance of herbivores.
They would face overpopulation and eventually end up disappearing.
it will disepear
If an organism is alone in a ecosystem it will definitely die. A single organism cannot form an ecosystem as it has to interact with other organisms.
there would be a decrease of carbon dioxide available to the ecosystem
One species may be eliminated from that ecosystem.
Another species that eats the same food might decrease in population.
At the top. So let's say there are lots of plants in Africa, and an herbivore eats those. Then, a carnivore (lion) comes along and eats that herbivore. And then at the very top of the pyramid there are scavengers (vultures) who just eat what's left of the herbivore after the carnivore is done with it.
The Ecosystem would shut down, and eventually the planet would become unlivable
carnivore that lives in georgia ecosystem
The numbers of predators and prey I'm that ecosystem
If producers were removed from an ecosystem there would be no more food web.
The ecosystem will damage humans.
If species disappeared from an ecosystem the balance in the ecosystem will be altered.
i think cacuse it needs energy? Not very sure
They are primary producers in an estuarine ecosystem.
If herbivores were removed from the planet, the food chain wouldn't have a bottom. Some carnivores eat smaller carnivores, but the lowest carnivore on the food chain would die if herbivores would be removed, causing a chain reaction and, well, the carnivores that eat that carnivore would die, and the carnivores that eat THAT carnivore will die... etc. The world would be a total mess.
If ecosystem is decomposed, ecological imbalance will be caused. The ecosystem will be depleted.
The roles of a producer in an ecosystem are : Photosynthesis to happen , grow entirely for the consumers .
More energy is lost by the Carnivore eating the Herbivore because of the 10% rule. When the Herbivore eats the plant, he gains 10% of the plants energy, but when the Carnivore eats the Herbivore, the Carnivore is getting 10% of the plants 10% from the Herbivore.
