then i belive the circle of life would be ruined. that term wouldn't even exist anymore and if you include trees in the plant category, we wouldn't be here either. we need oxygen, which plants provide for us. without them, we're technically nothing.

most of the time, a certain species helps the ecosystem in one way or another. for example, if Spiders were to be completely eliminated, then there would be a massive build up of flies and any other insects the spiders eat. and i doubt anyone would like that many flies. so back to what i said, if a species were to be eliminated, then the ecosystem would most likely take a turn for the worse.
