Try to put it into neutral the hit the button. The system is electronic and has a memory. If it is not used frequently it will forget what to do. To re-program it, disconnect the battery for 30 minutes. It will need to be used once a month or so to keep it's memory after it has been re-programmed. Try to do this on dirt or wet pavement to prevent possible damage. These uses can be short in duration.

What fireflies are looking for when they flash their lights are mates, but there are other reasons as to why they would flash their lights. They flash their lights as a survival method telling their predators that the chemicals in their light has a very bitter taste. They also use their light as a warning to other fireflies to stay away.

You would have to remove the red lenses and replace them with amber ones. Then you would get a ticket for improper lights.

Bad connection somewhere, switch, relay or ground.

Our 1993 Ford would not randomly (or so we thought) shift into overdrive. We eventually figured out this happened when the headlights / parking lights were on. We then traced it to a bad ground in the parking lights circuit. We fixed the ground and the shifting issue was fixed. No joke.

you have a short circuit, see a auto sparky

Tail lights and break lights are different things pretty much all the time. You see, tail lights run all the time the car is on and break lights only turn on when the break is pressed. If you would like to find out which lights are the breaklights, have a friend watch the back of the car, turn it on, push the breaks a few times and see which lights flash. The lights that flash are your break lights!

Flasher relay is bad if the lights come on but do not flash. If they lights do not come on at all then the bulbs may be blown or the fuse if blown.

User Avatar

perhaps if it was loose or the conductor was cracked.

Check the dimmer switch on the floor and the electrical connection to it. It may be corroded.

Connect the light wires to the terminals on your amp that send the signal to your subwoofer.

If lights light up but do not flash, then need to change the flasher, if no light at all chk all fuses first.

User Avatar

Well your 4WD might be going out, it probably wouldn't hurt to get it checked out.

Our 04 Envoy had a recall on turn signals and tail-lights, they just had to replace a relay. I would check with your dealer to see if your vehicle has been recalled.

User Avatar

I have the same problem. Did you resove it? I suspect it is a charging issue. Maybe a poor connection somewhere.

User Avatar

No, the flasher relay has nothing to do with starting the vehicle. It only controls the flash of the directional lights.

You may have a bulb that that brunt a element which than crossed the other element cause all lights to come on a one time. I have seen this before. If this does not light all bulbs when the brakes are applied, then I would be looking in the front lights, if it does I would look in the back lights.

Flashes would be the plural of flash.

Simply flash, they fought before and flash won so, flash.

would an automatic transmission car jerk when shifting after having had a transmission flush

User Avatar

Sounds like the reverse switch is either damaged, or wired backwards... Did you have your clutch done recently?

User Avatar

Flash, to much speed!!!!!

User Avatar

a broken dip stick wont cause hard shifting... the engine does not do the any shifting... your problem would be the transmission... check transmission....

User Avatar

Check the ground wire for the rear lights in back underneath where it attaches to the frame/body/bed. It may be broken, corroded or loose.
