A 1997 Pontiac Sunfire would have a voltage regulator and it would be found inside the alternator.
How is the ignition key switch replaced on the 2000 Pontiac Sunfire? And after replacing the switch would I have to have it Towed to the Pontiac Dealer in order to have the car key programed to the Computer?
A lack of water in your cooling system will cause your 2002 Pontiac Sunfire to overheat. A malfunctioning thermostat can also cause it to overheat.
1996 Pontiac sunfire horn fuseIt would be named cig and will be the color blue on the fuse box.
first i would try the oil pan
In a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire, there are two oxygen sensors. One would be located in the exhaust before the catalytic converter. The other is located in the exhaust after the catalytic converter.
what causes a roaring sound in a 2004 pontiac sunfire after it warms up? it runs great and idles great and quiet except for this.Anonymously
Don't know, would like to know.
You have a bad alternator.
you would have to change the bumper and fenders on your sunfire to get the hood to fit but to start off u would have to change the front bumper clip to interchange bumpers
Defective Heater Resistor Pack.
i would not recommend it
Most commonly would be lack of freon.
My first guess would be you are low on freon.
It kind of sounds like it might be a wheel bearing or CV joint. It happens when turning in only one direction? The wheel bearing could conceivably be dangerous if it failed catastrophically I'd get the car into the shop. FriPilot
I live in Canada on the east coast and just replaced a windshield for a 98 Sunfire. The price was $375.00 Canadian plus taxes and that included labour.
Maybe the compressor clutch is not being sent power from the switch in the cab. I'd yank the panel out and have a look at the switch. FriPilot
Well, the compressor might be loose, so when it's engaged, it shakes and thus shakes the entire engine. Or, you may have a loose or broken motor or transmission mount. If this is the case, you would commonly feel some shaking that doesn't feel right and this shaking could be worsened by the compressor being engaged.
are you kidding me ? ...wouldnt logic dictate that the drain plug for anything would be on the bottom of it ?
I would like the answer to this question also. AnswerWhen you say "after turning off 1994...", I'm assuming you mean turning off the A/C. The clutch on the compressor might be stuck, or the relay that controls it may be sticking. Try pulling the fuse or unplugging the compressor connector and seeing what it does. If it still runs, you've got a bad clutch on the compressor. IF YOU PULL THE CONNECTOR AT THE COMPRESSOR, MAKE SURE THE ENGINE IS OFF BEFORE YOU DO. Don't blame me if you get hung up in the belt.
Most likely you have a damaged - locking a/c compressor internally.............
Most likely, replace the ignition coil packs.
Could you help us out by giving us a little more information? What, exactly, is wrong with your sunroof? FriPilot
There are a few reasons that would cause your 2002 Pontiac back speakers to only work sometimes. The most common cause is a loose or corroded ground wire.
I'd guess 4 hours of labor would about cover the job. It's worth it.
