It is difficult to state precisely what the United States would be like today if the Anti-Federalists rather than the Federalists had dominated American politics in the 1780s and 1790s. Some possible answers, however, are as follows: First, it might not exist at all. Second, it might exist in a fragmented way, with different regions of the country existing as separation nations. Third, it might look very much like the European Union today, with a recognizable federalist administration yet even more recognizable and distinct member-state cultures and capitals, etc. What is quite likely in any case is that 'Washington, D.C.' would not be as important to most Americans as the capitals of their individual states.
Had the Anti-Federalists dominated the American Founding Period instead of the Federalists, the United States then and perhaps even now would have 'looked' (and been) very different. It might have looked more like the European Union today, with a viable 'federal' center but still more colorful, active, impressive, independent, and powerful 'states.' It might also have soon split into smaller, more politically stable and culturally similar region-nations, such as the North and the South.

States often do conflict with federal law. A perfect example is the state laws making pot legal. Federal law still classifies it as an illegal drug. It will eventually have to be decided in the courts.
If this new Bank of the United States were to fail, and collapse, the money would be gone. Results would be quite like the great depression of the 1930's, except with a lot more rioting.

The World would be Very bad
The United States would have been under German control(obviously) for some time. Remember, during WWII the United States was in a Great Depression at this time, and there was much poverty, homelessness, illness, etc. You would think that there would be a treaty signed to help out both Germany and the United States. Germany would most likely have the United States help pay WWI reparations that they still owed. In return, Germany would not give up control of the United States, they would simply aid the United States, and eventually, when the United States were strong enough, they'd fight for their freedom and hopefully win.
