Paxil has been generic, its called paroxetine. Just because a drug is generic does NOT make it cheap by any means, just cheaper than the name brand.
Is 20mg of Paxil a low dose?
It's a dose that is mostly used to start. 10mg is available to use but each doc to his own. PAxil can also start at 10mg to investigate the tolerance level and increased if no change after a few weeks. It is a rule of thumb not to add more then 40mg. 50mg in extreme cases but not recommend. It also depends on what you are being medicated for, there are a few uses for this drug.

Are Paxil Lithium and Loranzapam unsafe to take together?
I have found taking paxil and lithium together makes me feel much worse. The depression and panic attacks became much worse. I believe the paxil after 11 years of taking it stopped working and turned on me as my Bipolar 2 got worse, then taking the lithium enhanced the paxil thus compounding the issue. I am slowly getting off the paxil which is a nightmare but allowing me to avoid more extremes in the future. Paxil ahs turned out to be nasty drug with more side effects than you can imagine.

You will gain weight with Paxil it is an SSRI. They all have weight gain as a side effect. Try Wellbutrin instead. SSRIs are very hard to get off of. Paxil and Effexor are the worst for withdraw symptoms. Don't take a drug just because your Dr tells you to. Research everything about it before you decide it is right for you.

If you mean an ounce of the drug then its solely depends on what drug it is, I would only recommend smoking an ounce of weed, an ounce of heroin would most likely kill you, and Ounce of coke.. would most likely kill you, an ounce of ecstasy... would most likely kill you.
Can you take lamictal and Paxil together?
Yes. Lamictal is a mood stabilizer and paxil is an ssri (anti-depressant). Lamactil is often prescribed with SSRI's to "boost" the effect and/or work on areas that the SSRI does not tap. Obviously, an MD/Psych is the best person to talk to about drug interactions, not the internet.
