∙ 10y agoThe first ever UFC event - UFC 1 was held on November 12th 1993 at McNicholas Sports Arena in Denver, Colorado, USA. Fights were held in a knock-out tournament fashion. Royce Gracie def. Gerard Gordeau by a rear naked choke submission move to win the tournament. The event was attended by 2800 people and was watched on pay per view by approximately 86000 people.
