If it cold and dry enough then yes
No. Niagara Falls is too cold for crocodiles.
Any river can freeze when the temparature of the water drops below 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit). Even the famous Niagara Falls has frozen a couple of times during very cold weather.
At Niagara falls you can see rocks, little waterfalls you can jump off of all these things, you can go for hikes and swim in some really cold water

The climate in Niagara Falls varies depending on the month and day from cold and rainy to sunny and hot. But in the month of september it is usually nice and cool.
froze completely solid.
During the winter of 1911, when the falls froze (not completely) it was minus 40 degrees.
The temperature was -40
It doesn't freeze, the water current is too strong. Actually the falls has frozen over some winters. It often has tall spiraling ice peaks from the mist that rise above the falls. I have been there when the viewing areas are all very ice covered and have had problems getting into my car after spending time near the falls. (Ice builds up quickly from the mist in cold weather). Water does flow for almost all of the winter. It is a really interesting site to see the falls in January though. If you get the chance, go see it then!
the water is so cold because its farther away from the equator and it's far north and it is closer to the north pole were its coldest.
The average air temperature of the twin Cities of Niagara Falls varies wildly, from 18°F in Jan/Feb to 80°F in July.Personal experience at the Cave of the Winds (the foot of the American Falls) in August confirms that the water is refreshingly cold even on a hot day, certainly no warmer than 45°FAlthough Lake Erie does freeze over, the Horseshoe falls have never frozen, so the lowest temperature of the water must be slightly above 32°F (0°C) even in the depths of winter. The large plume of mist, so characteristic of Niagara Falls freezes on contact with almost anything, making the whole area around the falls a giant ice-sculpture during the winter months.
