1954 and 1955 are good years for Halfpennies because there were so few minted, but 1942 would be the best year. For Pennies, a 1956 variant is easily the best value, a 1945 variant a distant second and 1941 and 1942 coming third.

The New Zealand 1935 Threepence is easily the best year since there were only 40,000 minted.

250,000 of the 3.12 million New Zealand 1942 Threepences have a small error where the date should have a dot on either side, but only have "one dot".

300,000 of the 4.8 million New Zealand 1956 Threepences show Queen Elizabeth II with a bare shoulder. All other coins show a shoulder strap. These coins are known as "strapless".

The New Zealand 1941 Threepence has a good value for no apparent reason.

The highest value New Zealand Penny is easily the 1956 Penny, but there are two varieties.

The 1956 Penny with the high value shows Queen Elizabeth II with no shoulder straps.

A very distant second would be the 1941, 1942 and 1954 Pennies. The high value is only ascribed to coins in mint uncirculated condition.
