What you mean by acid water?
With a new pool surface installed- Diamond Brite or any
aggregate surface- is it possible or doable to acid wash the pool
with water in the pool??
The solubility of salicylic acid in hot water is about 2.24mg of salicylic acid to 1.00 ml of water at 25 degrees C. Of course the hotter the water would mean you could dissolve more. You would need to know the temperature of the water and the solubility of the salicylic acid at a certain temperature to know.
If you need (for example) three parts water and one part hydrochloric acid, that just means you need a 3:1 ratio of water to hydrochloric acid. It could mean three liters of water and one liter of hydrochloric acid, three mL of water and one mL of hydrochloric acid, three cups of water and one cup of hydrochloric acid, etc.
ADD ACID TO WATER. Think about it. If you had a beaker full of sulfuric acid and added water to it the acid, being concentrated in the beaker, could splash with a clumsy addition of water. Adding acid to water would splash mostly water with a clumsy pour. no. your suposed to pour the acid down the side of the cup (and you would spill some acid or water if you did)
