In America/ Europe illegal cards would be ANY OCG (Offical Card Game) cards such as (Japanese, Korean, Chinese etc) due to that they have different release dates than English TCG (Trading Card Game). The only cards you can use would be any TCG release like (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian) cards just as long as you have an English translation of the card, you can use it in a tournament/ YCS

You cannot get banned from previews or casual duels however, repeated offense of tournament rules in regionals, states, nationals, internationals, or any other sponsored and funded contests can get you blacklisted from further envolvement in said competitions.
