The Moon Jellyfish live near the surface of the ocean called the " sunlight zone.'' Some of the Moon Jellyfish swim on unknown areas, meaning they swim in the Twilight , or Midnight zone. We don't know for sure where else they swim or live but we know for sure that they live near the surface of the ocean.
Irukandji jellyfish were at one time thought to be in the northern waters of Australia only. Since then, according to a National Geographic documentary on jellyfish, the species has been found in waters as far north as the British Isles, Japan, and the Florida coast of the United States. There have been sighting and recorded injuries in the waters of Malaysia.
