Best Answer

There is no such thing as a perfect dog. Each person will have their opinion. The best dog is the dog that suits you and your lifestyle and personality.

mini fox terriers they own they're the best.

You should get one that is not too energetic, they are small but you can cuddle up with them at night and sleep with them if you want.=)

Hope this helps.

I think mastiffs, blood hounds, pit bulls, and other huge dogs are the best

There are many breeds of lapdog, from the tiny Chihuahua, through Pugs and Pomeranians to the relatively large Pekingese and the Toy Fox Terrier. Some have luxurious silky coats (which need daily grooming) while others are hairless and so need to be kept artificially warm at all times. All have their own breed characteristics in temperament as well as size, so you need to research which would be most suitable for you and your own particular lifestyle. A dog that will suit one person will not suit another so be certain what you want before you buy.

it depends on the dogs personality but its probuallt between a golden retriever and a labrador

the brittanyhas the best temperment. i have a 4 year old Brittany and she the best dog i have had so far ( out of 11 dogs )What dog breed has the best temperament?According to the American Temperament Test Society (ATTS), Pit Bulls pass their test with flying colors. In fact, the Pit Bull scores a little over 85% which is better than many Dog Breeds that people consider to be friendly or nice. To put that score into perspective, it is better than the Beagle, Cocker Spaniel, Collie, Golden Retriever, Pointer, Pomeranian, Poodle, Shih Tzu, Vizsla, and most other dog breeds actually. The average score of the general dog breed population is only around 77% so the Pit Bull scores much better than the average. The ATTS test focuses on and measures different aspects of temperament such as stability, shyness, aggressiveness, and friendliness as well as the dog's instinct for protectiveness towards its handler and/or self-preservation in the face of a threat. The success of Pit Bulls in this series of tests proves they are not naturally mean or violent.

In all actuality, there is no specific breed that is "the best dog." However, there are certain factors, including breed, that can affect the behavior of a specific dog.

For instance, some factors include

1. The genetic variances the dog has

(some inbred dogs, or dogs whose parents that are closely related, can have major temperament as well as medical problems.)

2. The amount of attention/affection the dog received as a puppy.

(Dogs who were neglected or denied attention or human handling can have behavior problems.)

3. The dog's breed. Some dogs are better fit for families, being gentler in nature. Some dogs are better fit for one person, some dog breeds have a generally aloof personality, and some breeds are naturally energetic and hyper and do not do well in apartments. What you will have to do is select a breed type you enjoy and research that breed to see what it's tendencies are. A good breed of dog to have would be a American Cocker Spaniel. even if they are bred for hunting, they are one of the most affectionate and gentle breed of dogs.
