I think it's 1-3-4-2, at least that's what it is for my '82 Celebrity with the 2.5L "Iron Duke". From what I read in and inferred from Chilton's about Celebs, Cieras, 6000s & Centurys it hasn't changed. Yes, for a 1992 Chevy S10 2.5L engine the firing order is: 1-3-4-2 . The distributor rotates clockwise.

Not completely sure, but the order 1 2 4 3 in clockwise order worked for a 1992 ford laser. Hope it helps. i have found that the firing order is 1 3 4 2 like on most 4 cylinder cars today. Answer: Ford Laser's Owners Manual lists it to be 1-3-4-2. I've checked my 82 Ford Laser The dissy goes in only one way. There should be a '1' on the cap. The rest of the leads go anti-clockwise.
