You need a tune up. The spark plugs are running way to hot and need to be replaced.
You may have something leaking down in your distributor. I had the same problem. I know it soundsd weird, but it's possible.
I have the same problem whit my Honda fourtrax 300 1992. I think that its related to the carburetor but I'm not sure though...
Several things could be causing the 1994 Cherokee to have this problem. There could be a drop in fuel pressure. There could also be a problem with the ignition circuit like a coil pack breaking down as it gets hot. Check these areas to start with.
We are having the same problem with my daughters 1999 sunfire, it turns over runs 2 seconds , it appears to be anti theft device ,if you wait ten minutes and try it again it will start, but not sure on how to disable the device , no help as yet,but after 10 minutes it re-sets itself and will start, if that is your problem .
Check the transmission fluid level. If it is ok, then the filter may be clogged. If not, then it will need to be taken to a transmission shop.
cam position sensor has failed
It's usually the fuel filter when a car does what you describe.
why do i not get my minutes 724-302-7317
Disconnect the battery for a few minutes. This should clear the code. Unless you have fixed the problem that set the code it will come on again.
Disconnect the battery cable for about 10 minutes and the light will be reset. If it comes on again after driving, it's a recurring problem and you can get the codes read and hopefully fix the problem. I think that one just has to sit for an hour for the fuel pump to start working again, that is assumming, of course, you don't trip it again....
Problem is most likely your alternator or your fuel pumps.
sadly no
