It depends on the contracting and mechanic's lien laws in your state and your arrangements with the contractor.

If you hire a contractor to "replace a door, labor and materials included" for a flat price, the job will include a factor for the time and expense to go and order or get the door and get it to your property, taxes and delivery charges included. Now when the contractor wants to get paid, and assuming you are in a state that requires the contractor to provide you will a waiver of mechanic's lien rights, the waiver should include information about the materials because the material provider may also have lien rights, and you will be looking to the contractor to "protect you" from those rights if it turns out the contractor got the door on credit and then didn't pay for it and the door seller traces it to your property. In that case the exact amount of the door may be irrelevant as long as its costs are part of the lien waiver.

If the facts are different, or you are in a state where all relevant information about a job is to be provided to you, then perhaps yes. You need to check your state's laws regarding contracting for things like this and mechanic lien rights and how to protect yourself against lien claims.

Who gets the depreciation amount from the insurance company when the work is completed contractor or homeowner?

If you have already paid the contractor in full and have a receipt of such then you would be reimbursed for the difference in what was already paid to minus what the total amount agreed upon was.

Can a subcontractor for termite treatment on a Hollywood Florida home put a lien on the house when the contractor was paid in full but will not pay the subcontractor?

Not likely. There is no privity of contract between the homeowner and the subcontractor. The homeowner had an agreement with the general contractor, and that's the only person they have a duty to pay. The subcontractor can only pursue payment from the general contractor - to put a lien on the home would be to punish an innocent party - the homeowner. This is between the subcontractor and the general contractor, and there's no reason to bring the homeowner into this, since the homeowner doesn't owe the subcontractor anything.

Is a receipt the same as a contract?

No, you can't return a contract, that's permanent. A receipt you can use to return your unwanted purchases. A receipt is something you get to show your purchases and a contract is something you sign permanently to make an agreement with somebody. They are two totally different thing's. A receipt is not a contract in any sense imaginable. It is for money paid by one person to another, and that's all. Therefore, if there is a dispute about whether an amount was paid, that is where the receipt comes into the picture. No other contractual agreement can be inferred from a receipt.
