my airbags have been deployed and my seat belts are locked. What should I do
If u dont put on ure saftybelt<the airbag wont work. It only works when ure wearing your seatbelt.
Crash the vehicle but make sure your seatbelt is on. If airbag deploys, then the sensors were good. Replace all components and repeat.
an electrical signal up to the airbag and it deploys
An airbag is deployed to help protect you from serious injury. The rate at which an airbag deploys will depend on where the vehicle is hit. Often, an airbag deploys when the vehicle is going 15 mph.
Get a new one! Highly unsafe!
That information is not released by the manufacturers.
you cannot drive the car if the airbag is deployed, its pretty expensive to have them fixed
An air bag decreases the time of impact. An easy way to explain it is the physics equation F=MA, Force=Mass X Acceleration. When an airbag deploys it increases the time of impact which in turn lowers the force that is inflicted upon the driver. A seatbelt alone will not do that. This is why even with airbags people involved in a traffic accident often break ribs, or have substantial bruising on their chest from the seatbelt. The airbag is what keeps them from experiencing even more substantial injuries.
the extremely rapid inflation of airbags. not wearing a seatbelt when an airbag inflates. being positioned incorrectly in the seat when an airbag inflates. if this question is for study island the answer is all of the above.
Crash the car into a tree. The airbag deploys and the cover pops right off. I hope this helps.
A Honda, like other automobiles equipped with airbags, needs to hit something at a certain speed before the airbag deploys. There are several sensors on the body and bumper of the Honda that will trigger the airbag to inflate. The normal range for deployment is 15 to 30 miles per hour for collision to deploy airbags.
If you have a child in the front seat of a car, you must ensure they are wearing a seat belt and that the airbag is connected. An unrestrained child without an airbag will be flung through the windshield in a crash and will die.The only exception to this is if you've got a baby in a rear-facing car seat strapped to the passenger seat. The baby seat must, without exception, be attached to the seat solidly, or the seat must be strapped to the seat in an approved manner. Then the airbag must be disconnected to prevent crush injuries in a crash.Urban myths have spread about airbags being dangerous. They are not, but not using a seatbelt is very dangerous; not using a seatbelt for your child is wanton neglect. For best results, strap your child into a car seat, fitted by professionals, on the rear seat of your car.
