umm im pretty sure its responce :) hop i helped
A plant growing toward light is an example of positive phototropism.
Phototrophic and exhibits Phototropism.
Please see related link below.
Yes, when the plant grows toward the sun for its light that is a stimulus. When roots grow toward the ground that is also a stimulus, cuz the roots are growing toward gravity.
Phototropism
A response
Auxins which are plant hormones.
One of the plant's hormones called auxins
phototropic (details from another answer) movement of or growth of plant in response to external stimulus. e.g. growth of root towards gravity - geotropism growth of shoot towards the light - phototropism hydrotropism is exhibited by lengthening of roots towards water source and finally, thigmotropism is growth towards solid objects -support by climbers

Nastic response occur in a part of a plant that grows towards a non-directional stimulus while Tropic response occur in a part of a plant that grows towards or away from a directional stimulus.
Tropism is the movement of a plant away from or toward a stimulus. The most easily found example of tropism is a plant's response to light. Plants tend to grow toward the light. This tendency is called 'phototropism'.
Auxins which are plant hormones.

its an response :)

The stem of a plant bends and grows toward a source of light. The shoot of a plant grows in the opposite direction of gravitational pull. The roots of a plant grow towardwater-rich soil.

Response. The stimulus is the light.

Tropism: is the growth response of a plant that results from certain stimuli. Tropism can be positive, in which case the plant will bend toward the stimulus, or negative, in which case the plant will bend away from stimulus. Taxis: Taxis in animals is the responsive movement of going toward or away from an external stimulus.
A plant does not grow upwards. A tropism is the growth of a plant in response to a stimulus. This means a plant does not grow upwards, it grows towards a stimulus which in most cases is light. Try it out, put a plant in a dark closet with a light on one side and watch the plant grow towards the light. The results should be clear after a number of days. The plant's response to light is known as phototropism. Hope I helped :)
