Antifreeze should be a 50/50 mix with water. If you bought pure coolant, mix with water. If you bought premix (already 50/50) pour in straight.
The oil pressure sensor on a 1997 V8 is on the top rear of the engine next to the distributor.
yes, they are located in front rigth side under the bumper
call a dealer parts dept with the last 9 of the VIN and they will tell you
Replace the molding. You can find the part you need at www.jcw.com
Two possibilities:There is an air pocket in the heater core caused by low coolant, the 4.7 V8 is prone to loosing coolant and not having a visible leak. The Air conditioning drain is plugged and there is a bunch of water in there sloshing back and forth
by adding more gas I'm weak on Fords, but radiators are filled either at the radiator or the overflow bottle. The overflow bottle will be marked coolant only.
Heater core
A 1997 Chevy Cavalier uses a standard 50/50 mix of antifreeze coolant and water. This keeps the engine from overheating and from freezing in the winter.
A 1997 Jeep Wrangler uses green coolant.
A 1997 Jeep uses green coolant.
You will know if you have a leaky water pump because it will be leaking coolant out of the water pump.
The water pump circulates the coolant throughout the engine. When a pump fails on a 1997 Hyundai the coolant will not circulate properly and cause the engine to overheat.
For ac freon 2.5 lbs for Radiator 2 quarts coolant rest water Wrong. There is no Freon in a 1997 Chevy. It contains R134a refrigerant. Freon was banned in the U.S. and was not used in 1997.
Mostly untight hose clamps or a hairline crack on the radiator drives side. Coolant will also leak from a faulty water pump
There are two separate sensors that play here. the "coolant temperature sensor" and "coolant LEVEL sensor". I suggest confirming which of these was replaced, as it is very common for them to be confused. likely you will find the coolant sensor that was replaced was the one on the engine (temperature); The LEVEL sensor is mounted either in the coolant resivoir or in the radiator. Probably just need the proper sensor replaced.
put a 50/50 mix of coolant and water in your radiator
Coolant is flushed from the radiator of a 1997 Honda Accord by opening the petcock and allowing the system to drain. The petcock is then closed, the system filled with water, and a flush added to the radiator to cleanse the system.
