If you fry an egg it turns white and goes solid is it a chemical reaction? well no it isn't a chemical reaction cos it can not be reversed back to what it was in the first place. it can also be known as physical reaction xx

Yes, as long as the liquid changes to solid, it is considered a chemical change.

I am almost positive this would be a physical change. The yoke is still yoke, it has just changed forms. It's just like when water freezes, it is still water and is still H2O with not change in the chemical makeup.

This is an example of a physical reaction. The chemical makeup of the egg has not changed. It has merely changed forms, similar to watching water evaporate. The water is still H2O, just in a different form.
