How does the greenhouse effect happen?
The Greenhouse effect happens when the sun's radiation gets trapped in Earth's atmosphere. The gases rise up and sink back and forth causing, what we call, Global Warming. A: The greenhouse effect happens due to the increase in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere such as H2O and CO2. they start trapping more infrared radiations than average which leads to the increase in earth's temperature. The natural greenhouse effect is beneficial to the planet. The enhanced greenhouse effect is caused by additional greenhouse gases and that is what is causing global warming.
What does the greenhouse effect lead to?
The greenhouse effect is due largely to what?
What does the greenhouse effect have to do with deforestation?
Deforestation, the removal of green cover from the surface of the earth is indirectly related to the global warming. because of the indiscriminate cutting of the trees the amount of carbon dioxide which the green plants absorb is decreases. This leads to increase in the greenhouse gases. These greenhouse gases are the ones responsible for the increase in the global warming.
How are excess greenhouse gases affecting the temperature of earth's atmosphere?
What leads to an increase in the greenhouse effect?
What are the two types of greenhouse effect?
What are the effects of combustion and deforestation and how do they relate to the greenhouse effect?
Combustion (burning) of any material usually releases carbon dioxide, as carbon is such a major component of everything on earth. Deforestation (removal of trees) means that the trees are no longer able to take carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. The greenhouse effect is the greenhouse gases retaining warmth from the sun. Any increase of greenhouse gases (as carbon dioxide is) leads to a warming in the atmosphere.

Is greenhouse effect also part of the atmosphere?
The green house effect is a not a part of atmosphere, but it is an effect which is produced in the atmosphere due to airpollution. The gases such as CO and other inert gases serves as an jacket layer which reflects the heat waves again in to earth which leads to increase in temprature and leads to several problems like seasonal variations and melting of icebergs in the polar reagions

Which human activity would most likely have an effect on the earths rising temperature?
What are the good and bad effect of greenhouse effect?
It is required for life on Earth. Without the greenhouse effect, the earth will be freezing, too cold for life. The bad thing is that us humans are throwing in way too many Greenhouse gases than normal, so now the planet is getting too hot, which leads to global warming. Fortunatley, humans are now more aware of greenhouse gases and now are conserving more energy.

What are two ways that the burning of rainforests leads to an increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide?
Asked in Global Warming, Animal Life
Are greenhouse gases bad?
Yes and no. We need greenhouse gases in our atmosphere to keep the earth warm enough for human life. So the right level of greenhouse gas is good. Too much greenhouse gases are bad for us. Carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and fluoridated gases are the gases which trap sunlight and heat from the surface of the earth and so they are used by the greenhouse effect to heat the atmosphere. This leads to overheating in the atmosphere which in turn leads to global warming.

How do human activities cause global warming?
To understand how humans cause global warming, it is important that you are aware of the link between your daily activities and the greenhouse effect. Furthermore, once you understand this, it is easy to see that you have the power to help stop global warming from getting worse. The primary way humans cause global warming is by burning fossil fuels. This increases the amount of carbon in the atmosphere, which leads to an increase in the Greenhouse Effect.
