Very good question actually.
There has already been 5 seasons and many hope for a 6th-- as do I
but that's all up to Naoko Takeuchi the creator... She has all rights.
Right now Sailor Moon is coming back globally but as for a new season.. it's possible..
Many Moonies have made trailers of a new season but there is no offical word-- although it's in talks.
As for a new Sailor moon SERIES all together-- maybe.
Maybe they'll have it like sailor moon next generation and have it be like sailor mini moon focused...
who knows.
nope, sadly..... (Boo Hoo :'( )
Yes, it was announced that they would reboot the series in the summer of 2013. Because of delays, it has been pushed back so no release date is currently available. At least the japanese version should air by 2014. I hope. They're remarketing merchandise already as well, with sailor moon Action Figures and a makeup compact for the fans who grew up with it. This year is it's 20th anniversary.
No. The animated series ended its run in Japan after five "seasons," or four series plus the final "Sailor Moon Sailor Stars" series, which producer Toei Animation regards as a separate series from its predecessors, Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon R, Sailor Moon S, and Sailor Moon Super S.
The storyline of the animated series corresponded mostly with the manga, which ended roughly around the same time and has not been continued since.
There are currently a few fan-made "season 6" series in the work on YouTube and other places, but none have reached completion as of this writing.
They've been making a new Sailor Moon series which is called Sailor Moon Crystal which is an anime of the Sailor Moon series that is attempting to be a little more faithful to the Sailor Moon manga although there are still some differences. Sailor Moon Crystal is streaming new episodes of its series on the first and third Saturdays of every month and it has been airing since July 5, 2014. Sailor Moon Crystal ended with the Dark Kingdom arc on January 17, 2015 with Episode 14 at which point the Black Moon arc starts.
Crystal is the name of the new Sailor Moon series. The new series will come out July 5th 2014.
5 in total: Sailor Moon Sailor Moon R Sailor Moon S Sailor Moon SuperS Sailor Stars Sailor Stars was never released in an English Speaking country! :( But a very good season! :) :D ^-^
Yes Sailor Stars was the fifth and the last season of the original Sailor Moon version however Toei Animation has created a new version of Sailor Moon which is called Sailor Moon Crystal which is a retelling of the Sailor Moon story. Sailor Moon Crystal is being more faithful to the manga but there are still elements from the original Sailor Moon series such as the same villains and the same Sailor Soldiers as well as Tuxedo Mask, Chibiusa, Luna and Artemis.
In the first season all the sailor senshin except sailor moon die but they come back to life in the second season. They also die in the last season.
There are only 5 seasons of Sailor Moon (anime) and 1 season of Sailor Moon Live Action. So technically 6 seasons: 1. Sailor Moon 2. Sailor Moon R 3. Sailor Moon S 4. Sailor Moon SuperS 5. Sailor Moon Stars 6. Sailor Moon Live Action Only the first 4 seasons are dubbed into English so far.
1.Sailor Moon 2.Sailor Moon R (return) 3.Sailor Moon S (super) 4.Sailor Moon Super S (super solders) 5.Sailor Moon Stars

Its a fan made sailor moon season on youtube.
Sailor Stars, Season Five.
Sailor Moon helps Sailor Saturn defeat Pharaoh Ninety in episode 125 which is part of the third season of the series Sailor Moon S
Sailor Moon S refers to the third season of the Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon anime. The "S" is said to stand for "Super," because it is the first season in which we see Sailor Moon gain an upgraded transformation, when she is called Super Sailor Moon. This season is equivalent to the "Infinity" arc of the manga, though it did not have an equivalent in the live action television series (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon). It was, however, utilized in many of the Sailor Moon musicals.
There is an extra season in the manga.
Sailor Moon *I would watch the season because it really is her.
