You are most likely to conceive between the 14th and the 17th day after your first day of the period. You can also start measuring your temperature every morning. A very slight increase of your temperature around the time stated above will indicate that now is the time to conceive. However, if you choose to do the temperature method, you have to do that for a couple months and you should write it down daily. Good luck!

It is best to conceive before your period. About two weeks before your period starts is when the egg begins its descent through the reproductive tract. Ovulation occurs about 5-7 days before you start your period. You usually feel a small pain in your lower left or right side and that is when the egg bursts a whole in your ovary.

If you have a 28 day cycle (they can vary from woman to woman) That is the first day of your period happens every 28 days. Then the most likely time for you become pregnant is by having unprotected sex Between the 10th and 16th day after the fist day of your period. You can get more detailed information by googling the term "menstrual cycle" or "baby timing".

Your menstrual cycle is just that; a cycle - you are fertile before and after menstruation.

Typically you will ovulate 14 days before menstruation, during a 28 day cycle that would also be 14 days after the start of your period, you see? Unless you use FAM you can't know when you are fertile though, so always use some form of Birth Control to prevent unwanted pregnancy.

Conception is easier just after menstruation. During the average 28 day cycle ovulation will occour around day 14, which means you would be fertile from day 7 - everyone's cycles are different however. If you are trying to conceive then it is best to use fertility awareness method to determine exactly when you're fertile.

What does two periods in one month mean while trying to conceive?

It means that you need to stop trying to conceive and learn the basics of how your reproductive system works. You don't get two periods in one month, unless you're looking at one at the start of the month and one at the end of the month due to a cycle under 30 days, not all vaginal bleeding is menstruation. Trying to conceive does not change your cycle so that's irrelevant.
