WHEN? ''Jehovah's Witnesses had their modern-day start in the 1870's. At first, they were called Bible Students. But in 1931 they adopted the Scriptural name Jehovah's Witnesses'' As quoted from the 'What does God require of us?' brochure, printed by Jehovah's Witnesses.
In the 1870's. The modern-day organization of Jehovah's Witnesses began toward the end of the 19th century with a small group of Bible students near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1879 they began publishing The Bible journal now called The Watchtower Announcing Jehovah's Kingdom. It is published in more than 140 languages and is the world's most widely circulated religious magazine. The name Jehovah's Witnesses was adopted in 1931. Previously, they were known as International Bible Students.
Jehovah's Witnesses did not break away from any denomination.
Jehovah's Witnesses come from the different denominations. We have people in our congregations that were formerly Catholic, Baptist, Mormon, 7th Day, Hindu, etc. We always write a letter to our former religion to be removed from their membership - - then they become Jehovah's Witnesses. We usually include the reason for leaving.

Well, we Jehovah Witnesses take care of our safety. We try to stay away from people we are not too sure of, and if the person who invited the Jehovah's Witness member is not a Jehovah's Witness, we say no. However, if it is a Jehovah Witness who invited a Jehovah Witness to a sleepover, it depends.
his mother raised him to be a Jehovah's witness but that mindset gradually went away so there was no clear religion of Michael Jackson

Unlike "witness's", the spoken usage of "witnesses" does not normally include an extra (third) sibilant, and may be written "witnesses' ." The "s" after the apostrophe has, however, been noted regarding possessives of "Jehovah's Witnesses".
A Jehovah Witness Wedding is the same in most respects to say a catholic wedding. The only true difference is that the ceremony is not held in a church (never) and their is never a priest but a speaker, from the couples Kingdom Hall. So to answer your question the brides father typical gives away the bride unless the mother does it.
The singular form for the plural noun witnesses is witness; the singular possessive is witness'.Example: The witness' bag was snatched as she walked away.
I am a disfellowshipped Witness and when I was a Witness I could eat with anyone. There were people I stayed away from and I would not eat with now or then! I have some issues with Jehovah's Witnesses personally but they are good people trying to live life by God's scriptures. You cannot fault them for that or call them a cult and all that. I can come back when I am ready to do so like the prodigal son or keep on the path I have been on it's my choice. Right now I am leaving to go eat with my coworkers! As far as I know they can eat with others.
That question is unanswerable. There ar several reasons for that. For one thing, we do not catagorize our members into groups, such as age or ethnicity. All Jehovah's Witnesses are couted as part of a global botherhood, therefore there is no way to disect the brotherhood into any kind of age group. The only figures we have to go by is reports from individual countries, so we do know, for example, how many JW's there are active in India or another country, but we do not know how many of those are considered 'minors.' For another thing, we do not regard our children automatically as Jehovah's Witnesses. Repeatedly the Bible stresses the need for each person to learn the truth, and set it firmly in their own heart. A young child usually has not matured enough to do that. So while we may refer to a young child as having 'been born to Jehovah's Witness parents,' we do not refer to a child as having been 'born a Jehovah's Witness,' or 'born into the truth.' They have to mature enough to make a conscious decision to serve Jehovah. An unbaptised child of Jehovah's Witness parents may be attending meetings, and even sharing in the door to door ministry with their parent(s), but they are not counted as members of the congregation, nor are they counted in the worldwide report of Jehovah's Witnesses, until they are baptised as a Jehovah's Witness. Answer: I was raised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and I decided to continue but many children end up changing their mind and doing other things, they normally end up wanting to get out away from the "strictness" and they just want to have "fun" like everyone else is doing. I know that people say it's the craziest religion and you know what that's fine by me but I love what I do and I wouldn't trade it for this whole crazy world.

Answer 1:Those that voice their discord with official Jehovah's Witness doctrine and attempt to subvert the faith of others by propagating their personal views within the organisation in an attempt to turn others away may be disfellowshipped.Non believers or individuals that were raised in families (by JW parents) but that were never actually baptised Witnesses are not disfellowshipped.Answer 2:Voluntarily leaving the Jehovah's Witness organisation is not viewed as motive for "disfellowshipping" (shunning). People are disfellowshipped from the JW organisation for unrepentent acts such as child abuse, adultery or for smoking, drug use or theft.
