How and when did black eyed peas got together?

apl.de.ap. and will.i.am. have been rapping together since they met in high school. They created a band named Atban Klann with two other musicians: DJ Motiv8 and Mookie Mook. In 1995, after the founder of the record label they were with passed away, Mookie Mook and DJ Motiv8 left the band, and together, Will and apl found another member: Jamie Gomez, AKA, Taboo. They then together changed the band name to the Black Eyed Peas. They released an 2 albums after that; Behind the Front and Bridging the Gap. In 2003, Fergie was alerted that the Black Eyed Peas needed a female singer for their song Shut Up. Fergie joined the band later that year, but if you have ever noticed that Fergie rarely appears in Elephunk, that's why. Basically, the 'Black Eyed Peas' have been around since 1995, but the Black Eyed Peas as we know them have been together since 2003.

Seriously, I did a geography/history paper on a famous Filipino and chose apl.de.ap and spent 4 days researching and writing about my favourite band and my favourite band member! Hope I helped.

Well will i am and apl d had already made a CD they are best buds since like forever and fergie had already her popularity and her cds and taboo had a son at 18 and then he rlly liked music and became famous with the black eyed peas and by the way i love taboo iam Mexican to and i will be seeing you at your the end tour and iam actually really cought up in music and writting songs and iam actually planning to share my love and passion with the world and want the black eyed peas to help me with my work to and ill see you soon at the grammys.

Originally in 1995 the first Black Eyed Peas were formed and it was just Will.i.am, Apl.de.ap and Taboo. Fergie joined in 2003.
