Best Answer

Although the Bosnian War officially ended with the signing of the Dayton Accords on November 21, 1995, in Dayton, Ohio, the siege of Sarajevo did not end until early 1996.

The Bosnian Serb forces that had conducted the siege of Sarajevo from positions in the hills around the city did not withdraw until February 29, 1996.
