As a minimum, a Muslim attends the mosque (or Masjid) for the weekly Friday praying. Only female Muslims may be forgiven from attending mosques for Friday praying if they feel unsafe on going to mosques (a case which is rarely existing). However, many Muslims attend mosques for the 5 daily prayers and also during feast prayers and Ramadan Taraweeh prayers.

Muslims pray 5 times a day, everyday. In the ideal situation, you are recommended to pray all these prayers at mosque. However, majority of Muslims can't afford to pray all the five prayers at mosque due to work or other reasons so they try to pray whatever they can in mosque and pray the rest at home, work, street or any convenient place. Therefore, Muslims' prayers are not limited to be performed at mosque.

The holy day of the week is Friday for Muslims analog to Sunday for Christians. Muslims are strongly encouraged to attend the (noon) prayer of Friday at mosque.

Muslims prayers are as following:

1. Fajer = Pre-sunrise prayer

2. Duhur= prayer when the sun becomes right in the middle of the sky, usually at noon.

3. As'ser= After noon prayer, usually between 3 and 5 pm.

4. Maghurib= at sunset prayer

5. Esha'a= After sunset prayer usually between 8 and 10 pm depending on the season.

It is worth to mention that Muslims try to pray these prayer on time as they can, if not Muslims will try to pray them after whenever they can.
