Adult Beardies usually shed once a month. Beardies are constantly growing and unlike humans their skin doesn't grow with them so they need to shed it like a snake. It takes them awhile to shed as their skin comes off in patches unlike a snake that sheds all in one.

Bearded Dragons - like all reptiles - will shed more often when they're youngsters. As the reptile gets older, its growth rate will slow down, and it'll shed less and less frequent. As a guide - a juvenile of less than three years old may shed four or five times a year, while those of adult size may only shed once a year - or less!

Bearded Dragons, as with all reptiles shed their skins to grow.

Therefore the younger the animal - the more frequent it will shed. It's almost impossible to quote an exact time between sheding.
