Verb: to have.

Present simple tense:

have/has can mean "own" = "possess":

I have a car. = I own a car.

He has a camera.= He owns a camera.

Have/has can have other meanings. Have/has + ( breakfast - lunch - dinner- a swim - a walk - a bath - a shower....etc.)

Had is the past of have.
