Sherrod Brown. senior US Senator from Ohio has been in office since 2007. He successfully defeated incumbent Mike Dewine in the Senate election in 2006. He chairs the Agriculture Subcommittee on Hunger, Nutrition and Family Farms and the Banking Subcommittee on Economic Policy. He is a member of the Select Committee on Ethics, the Committee on Finance and the Committee on Veterans Affairs.
Since he took office in 2006, his term will expire in 2012.
