Summer begins every year on the 21 of June.
Summer does begin on June 21st in 2011, but it is not true that it begins every year on the 21st. Many people think that all seasons begin on the 21st of the month, but they do not. For example, in 2011, Spring began on March 20th. Summer will begin on June 21st, but Autumn will begin on September 23rd and Winter will begin on December 22nd (based on Eastern Time).
