If it gets faster and louder when you rev the engine it might be a lifter in your valve train. Not hearing it i don't totally know.
no--bearings and tires are the most likely cause of roaring--esp if it gets louder as you roll faster

A worn serpentine belt will make a high-pitched squeal when the engine is running. The faster you go, the louder the high-pitched will become.
A speed can't be louder or less loud. The sound itself can be louder; or the speed can be faster.
The vehicle will sound louder.
"Crescendo" Is A musical term for the music to get louder and faster
Yes...
It certainly could. It could be a number of things also but you may be able to find a more conclusive answer if this is true. Does it get louder and louder the faster you are driving. Is it louder in a long but slight fast turn in one direction than in another. For instance If you are driving straight and you lightly turn right no change but if you lightly turn left louder humming probably your right front bearing understand? Keep in mind it could be other things but it sounds like you are on the right track. Goyette
The vehicle usually becomes progressively louder.
