Depends a lot on breed....most pups get their growth spurt by 9 months, then finish at 18 months. Large breeds continue growing until about 2 years. Mastiff breeds, Old English Mastiff, Bull Mastiff, Tibetan, Nebolish, Saint Bernard, Fila, etc... grow until they are 3 years old. Nutrition is important during their growth period.
Most dogs are fully grown at about 1 year of age.
Gernerally accepted that at a year a dog has reached maturity.
The time a dog stops growing varies between breeds. Dogs are considered full grown at 1 year old but some are done growing before that and some might not be full grown until 2 years of age.
Usually dogs mature when they are 2 years old. But sometimes dogs mature at a different age. ( like humans ) It just depends on the dog.

the age of 13 is GREAT for a dog to live to! depending on which dog you have, there is a set age they should live at if they have a happy, healthy life. but anyway, 13 is a great age for a dog to live at, but if they live for any longer, good on them!

One dog year is equal to approximately seven human years. To figure out your dog's age in dog years, simply take his age in human years and multiply by seven.
I personally think that 5 is a good age to mate your dog.
A dog can be neutered at any age after 6 months.
