I hunt in NY but it should be the same. Typically ducks move the most at dawn and dusk. This may be impacted somewhat by weather, i.e., an incoming storm front. Here we can shoot 1/2 hour before sunrise to sunset. They monitor this carefully, so don't shoot before your specified time or after sunset. Charts can be down loaded from the net or watch your local weather news.
Good Luck!
I think most hunters would tell you just after dawn (when legal shooting hours start) and just before they end. Although large deer are taken mid-day, most hunters seem to prefer early and late. Deer are moving in the mornings back to their beds from feeding, and visa versa in the evening going to the fields to feed.
it all depends on where and what kind of hunting your doing. If its cloudy its best to be in the timber. if its a blue bird day, very clear its good to be in the fields. but since i have been hunting i always have the best luck in the worst hunting conditions. best thing to do is be ready for all kinds of huntinweather.....by checking long range huntinweather forecasts. huntinweather can vary no doubt. if you think that you want to hunt a cold front but only have limited outings per season then you need to get the right huntinweather by checking out long range forecasts. sometimes rainy weather with 50 degree temperatures can get the ducks going, other times bluebird days with temperatures below freezing.
Dusk is often a good time to hunt rabbits. They come out of hiding and are seeking food and sometimes distracted by being social and playful.
Early morning and late after noon about 3:00 or 4:30
night because it was the best time they could hunt with camouflage and more of there weapons so that they could sneak up on their food that they wanted
The best time for tigers to hunt is in cooler afternoons and evenings. Hunting during the heat of midday is too tiring, and prey is more alert in the morning hours than in the evening, when they are full and tired from a day's foraging.
dolphins hunt during the day time while fishes are out!
During the day time
2-3 hours before sunset or early in the morning
any time of the day.
At night.
Tigers are actually diurnal. Even though they sleep most of the day and hunt at night, they still can hunt in they day and actually sleep at night also.
Early in the morning just after sun up is the best. Because they are headed back to they're bedding area. Hope This Helps.
Rabbits tend to be the most active when it gets dark out. We have always had the most success by breeding our rabbits during the evening hours.
In the wild, rabbits are nocturnal and are active at night. However, house rabbits can get used to diurnal behavior. Generally, house rabbits are more active in the morning and night time than the afternoon.
The same colour during the day time.
