No BELT. It has a CHAIN and no maintenance is required. - I do recommend changing the Spark Plugs, Plugs Wires, Fuel Filter, PVC Valve & Fuel Filter though. I'm at 160,000km on my 02' and doing its first change now.

You firts pull out the battery, and then you slip out the starter cables, and right where the belts are you snap those and that's where the serpentine belt should be changed.
Turn ignition switch on, press accelerator pedal to floor rapidly 3 times, start engine and light should go out. Do not press more then 3 times as then it will not reset.
