A rumbling or humming noise with use of heat or AC that varuies with fan speed is usually caused by a blower motor that has a bad bearing. Replace the blower motor. Also, the next time you get the oil changed ask the mechanic to clear your AC evaporator drain tube and if you have a pile of leaves on your cowl, clean it off.
If it's an irregular rattly type noise you may have debris such as leaves or raffle tickets stuck in the vents or ducts.
If it's a sort of a thump you may have a rodent nest or dead rodent stuck in the squirrel cage. Remove the blower and dump out the nest/corpse as needed.
