No good has ever come from doing evil. If anything good does come from it then it is by that persons resistance to evil, thereby strengthening their own commitment to do good. Of course good can come from evil. This is an unfortunate fact, and people who want good and defend it improve the world for both themselves and those who do evil but here are a few examples: 1. Interrogation. When it is known a crime will be committed, and during the interrogation of a suspect, only violence yields the information necessary to stop the crime. 2. Politics. Lying, a tool often used in politics, can mitigate the consequences of acts that would otherwise cause indignation and might lead to war. For example "Yes, I know that's what the Prime Minister said but he meant...." 3. Robin Hood. Stealing is wrong, but using the stolen money for the good of others (ill, dying, starving, freezing...) makes it so that "good comes from evil". 4. Bureaucracy. The chain of command in an institution is used so that people are manipulated into doing what the top dog want, which ends up being something good. But they had to manipulate you and others to get there because if the wrong person got wind of the plan, it would have all gone wrong. Also if the belief system defends evil then doing evil can be considered something "positive", or "good", hence "good can come from evil" but this is only semantics
