A midsize SUv is generally smaller in ebvrything than a standard SUV. A standard SUV is better for towing than the smaller ones. Handling and drivebility is more like limo with a midsize SUV.
no Unless it came with 4WD from the factory you are much, much, better off selling this SUV and buying another one with 4WD. You will be money and time ahead.
It depends, Most SUV's are rear wheel drive. But I have also seen some 4 wheel drive SUV's too. Yours could possibly be 4 wheel drive.
A SUV is better to commute in snow because of its 4 wheel drive, and it is easier to put chains on. The 4 wheel drive will give you better traction in the snow.
Depending on the yr/make/ model of the car you are talking about, it could be... inexpensive good on gas safe fast/fun to drive high payload/towing capacity(pickup, SUV) roomy good off road
The origins of SUV vehicles goes back to one name and that is Jeep. They have been making SUVs since World War I. They were just called 4 wheel drives then. SUV is a modern term.
take it to a mechanic
the only major differences are SUV's are typically four door vehicles and they usually come with four wheel drive. its rare to see an SUV without four wheel. Trucks can get (from factory) stronger frames such as with F-350 or 3500. these frames aren't used on SUV's. the largest frame ive seen was a 250 or 2500 frame on excursions and suburbans. and obviously, SUV's are completely enclosed as where trucks have a 6 or 8 foot bed.
No. It is standard rear-wheel drive truck until the 4WD mode is engaged.
yes
The only SUV Ferrari currently makes is the "Dolomite". The Dolomite is a 4 wheel drive vehicle and the wheelbase is a similar design to the "612 Scaglietti" model.
It should cost $40-65 for a front end alignment and 80-100 for a 4-wheel . If you have a newer vehicle with Independent front suspension you will need a 4-wheel, however you you like me and own a older SUV with live axles you only need a front end.
